Right now the comics are MIA, and I”m sorry about that.  I”m hoping to edit those posts to include all the old comic images, as well as putting up new ones to showcase the roughs for the end of the road trip storyline.

As mentioned previously, the story will be continuing in prose format, and at this point the first six chapters are all written up.  Sadly, for regular readers, a good part of that is a rehash of material covered by the comic, but I wanted to have the entire story written in the same way, and so those will be posted in the near future.  However, it’’s also the start of new material (chapter 5 ends with the road trip story), and so the continuing tales of Zane and Aron will be coming soon.  Not to mention everyone else, as all the characters certainly want to have their say.

Please excuse the mess while I work on changing the site theme around a bit to make prose posting easier.  I hope to work everything out so the site is nearly as it used to be.  Everything should (finally) be straightened out very shortly.  Thank you so much for your support and patience.

Okay guys, here’’s the deal.  For reasons that are not up to me to disclose, Clover can no longer draw this comic.  A little while back, I talked to her about it, and she said she”d draw out the rest of this story arc and post it, but as you can see, that didn”t happen.  At the same time, I also got her permission to finish the story in prose format, so that way at least you”d all get some kind of resolution.  Plus, I love the characters and have tons planned out for them.  I don”t want to let them go.  No matter what gets decided here, I will continue to write the story.

However, to be 100% honest here, if there’’s no interest in reading it here, I”ll pull down the site.  Not to be vindictive or anything, it’’s just that I can”t afford to keep the site running if it’’s just going to continue sitting here, doing nothing at all, like it has been over the last several months.

So that’’s where you all come in.  Is there any interest in reading the story if it’’s not posted as a comic?  If there seems to be enough interest, I”ll restructure the site a bit and post here.  Alternately, if –and this is a big if– I can get Clover’’s permission and there’’s an artist out there who wants to pick it up, another artist could continue the story.  (Please do note, though, before volunteering that I don”t write in script format which can make things more difficult for adaptation.)  Any artist would have to be approved by Clover, as she was the first person to draw these characters, I just tried to bring her pictures to life by writing their stories.

ETA: 10/30/09 Okay, as I”ve received a number of comments and e-mails, the story will continue being posted here. Also, Clover sent roughs of the remaining road trip storyline, so those will go up soon. I”m away from the computer each weekend, but please expect more to come soon as I work out the best way to continue the story for you all. It’’s the updates that leave me wishing I knew what to tell you all.  Things went a bit crazy when I moved, and a couple of weeks ago Clover moved as well, in addition to other things, but I really can”t offer any excuses.  The story is written well in advance of what’’s been posted here, and since I can only draw very poor stick figures, I doubt anyone would want to see my attempt at translating my prose into pictures.  However, if things continue as they are, and people want, I”ll begin going over the prose to post that to share.  Honestly, something needs to be done, because I can”t afford to keep paying for a website that’’s just sitting here.

Those of you who are still popping in to look for updates…  Thank you.  I can”t tell you how much that means to me.  Every comment we”ve recieved here, every unique visitor we”ve had, it all makes me so proud to have had a hand in creating something that people can enjoy.  I hope, one way or another, to keep bringing these characters to those that love them and want to know what happens to them.  So, if you”ve got suggestions, comments or questions, please do feel free to comment here or e-mail me.  I”ll do what I can to bring you answers as soon as possible.  Again, thank you so much for all the support you”ve given thus far.

Anyway, in apology for the lack of updates recently, I have a whole week’’s worth of comics for you. So from the 20th-24th, we”ll have a straight 5 pages of Bitonality! I”ve gotten a lot more time off of my paying job lately, so that means I”ll have time to start keeping up with updates here.
